Please read this leaflet carefully before you start to use this product. If you have any questions or are unsure about anything, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
The ointment contains the active ingredient salicylic acid Ph Eur 12.5% w/w.
It also contains anhydrous lanolin and eucalyptus oil.
Each tube of Corn and Callous Salve contains 5g of product.
How Does the Active Ingredient Work?
Salicylic Acid is a keratolytic agent, which means that it breaks down and removes corns and callouses.

Uses
Corn and Callous Salve is used for the treatment of corns and callouses.
Before Using Corn and Callous Salve
The following information should be read before using this product:
• Do not use Corn and Callous Salve if you are sensitive to salicylic acid or any ingredients listed at the beginning of this leaflet.
• Do not use if the corn, callous or surrounding skin is inflamed or broken.
• Do not use if diabetic or if you have severe circulatory disorders, except on a doctor’s advice.
• Do not apply to normal skin, if the salve comes into contact with normal skin, wash off immediately with copious amounts of water.
• Not suitable for soft corns between the toes.
• Discontinue use and remove any dressing if excessive discomfort or irritation is experienced, or if sensitivity develops.
Do not use during pregnancy and lactation unless on the advice of your doctor.
Directions
Adults and children over 16 years:
Apply the salve directly to the corn or callous every two days until the corn or callous can be easily removed. Treatment to be continued for up to two weeks, except under medical advice.
Corn and Callous Salve is not recommended for children under 16 years, except following a doctor’s recommendation.
Side Effects
It is unlikely that you will have any side effects from the correct use of this product.
Some skin irritation or dermatitis is possible, but this is not usually anything to worry about. If you develop excessive discomfort or sensitivity, wash off with plenty of water.
If you think you have any other unwanted effects from the use of this product, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
Storage Conditions
Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
Store at or below 25oC, out of the reach of children.
