About this product: Asda Children’s Dry Cough Glycerol, Blackcurrant Flavour is taken to relieve tidky coughs and sore throats.
Ingredients: Active Ingredient: Glycerol 0.75g per 5ml. Other ingredients: Sucrose, Glucose, Citric Acid E330, Blackcurrant Flavour, Anthocyanin E163 and Purified Water.
Dosage: Liquid for Oral Use. Shake the bottle before use. Adults and children over 12 years: Take one or two 5ml spoonfuls (5ml to 10ml). Children from 6 to 12 years:
Take one 5ml spoonful. Children from 1 to 5 years: Take half a 5ml spoonful (2.5ml).
The above doses may be taken up to 4 times daily. Wipe the neck of the bottle and replace the cap securely without over tightening it. Do not give to children under 1 year. Storage: Do not store above 25°C. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Warning: Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients or have difficulty digesting glucose. Do not use if taking any other products containing potassium tartrate, carbonates or bicarbonates. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if the patient is pregnant, breast-feeding or has kidney problems. If the patient has been told by their doctor that they have an intolerance to some sugars, contact the doctor before using this medicinal product. Contains 5.6g of sucrose per 10ml dose. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes mellitus. This medicinal product contains small amounts of ethanol (alcohol), less than 100mg per 10ml dose.
