Emulsifying Ointment is a semi-opaque waxy ointment, used in the pharmacy as an ingredient in the preparation of Aqueous Cream and Buffered Cream.

Before you use Emulsifying Ointment: take special care if you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this product.

How to use Emulsifying Ointment: information will be provided with the final preparation. If you have any further questions on the use of this product, ask your pharmacist or doctor. If you use more than you should, or if the product is accidentally swallowed:

contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

Side effects are unlikely with the use of this product. If you notice anything unusual, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.



Storing Emulsifying Ointment: Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Store

below 25°C. Do not freeze. Do not use after the expiry date shown in the label. Your pharmacist

will dispose of any unused cream.


WARNING: If this product comes into contact with dressing and clothing, the fabric can be easily ignited with a naked flame. You should keep away from fire when using this product.

Emulsifying ointment contains: Emulsifying ointment 30% w/w, white soft paraffin 50% w/w and liquid paraffin 20% w/w.
