Gastrocote Tablets ease the discomfort of indigestion and heartburn.
Each chewable tablet contains alginic acid 200mg, dried aluminium hydroxide gel 80mg, magnesium trisilicate 40mg, sodium, butterscotch flavour, magnesium stearate, sugar.

Dosage: Adults, the elderly and children over 6 years: one or two tablets four times a day after main meals and at bedtime. Chew before swallowing.
Do not give to children under 6 years unless your doctor tells you to.
If your symptoms persist you should consult your doctor.

Gastrocote Tablets are used for heartburn, including heartburn in pregnancy - reflux oesophagitis - gastric reflux - acid indigestion.

□ Do not use the medicine if you or your child have
• An allergy to any of the ingredients listed in section 6.
A Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you or your child
• Have kidney problems - Are on a controlled phosphate diet.
A Important ingredient information
• This product contains 0.91 mmol (21mg) of sodium per tablet.
To be taken into account by people on a controlled sodium diet.
• It also contains 1g of sucrose per tablet. To be taken into account in people with diabetes. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicine.
3. How to use this medicine
Chew the tablets before swallowing.
