Uses: For the relief of coughs and soreness of the throat. May also be used to relieve dry skin conditions.

Before you use

X Do not use:

   If you are allergic to glycerol

! Talk to your pharmacist or doctor:

•    If you have diabetes

•    If you are dehydrated or become dehydrated

You can use this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

S How to use this medicine

Check the cap seal is not broken before first use. If it is, do not use the medicine.

This medicine can be swallowed or used on the skin.

To relieve coughs and sore throats: Mix the recommended amount with a little water and drink slowly.

Adults and children of 12 years and over: Two 5 ml spoonfuls, diluted in water. Take this amount 3 or 4 times a day.

Children of 5 to 11 years: One 5 ml spoonful, diluted in water. Give this amount 3 or 4 times a day.

Children of 1 to 4 years: Half a 5 ml spoonful, diluted in water. Give this amount 3 or 4 times a day.

Do not give to children under 1 year.

If you take or give too much: Talk to a pharmacist or doctor.

To relieve dry skin for adults and children: Apply to the affected area of skin undiluted or mixed with a little water. If symptoms do not go away talk to your pharmacist or doctor.

Possible side effects

Most people will not have problems, but some may get some.

! If you get any of these serious side effects, stop using the medicine. See a doctor at once:

•    Difficulty in breathing, swelling of the face, neck, tongue or throat (severe allergic reactions) If you get any of the following side effects see your pharmacist or doctor:

•    Feeling sick, being sick, headache

•    Less frequently, diarrhoea, thirst, dizziness

If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. This includes any possible side effects not listed in this label. Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children.

Use by the date on the label edge.
