What the medicine is for

Glycerin Suppositories relieve occasional constipation by helping to stimulate bowel movement.

Before you use Glycerin Suppositories
XDo not use the medicine if you have....

•    An allergy to any of the ingredients.

•    Do not use for children or infants.

! Pregnant or breastfeeding

Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine if you are pregnant, might be pregnant or are breastfeeding. Glycerin Suppositories should not be used in pregnancy unless the doctor has told you to do so.

✓ How to use the medicine

•    Suppositories must not be taken by mouth.

•    Wash your hands before and after use.

•    Remove the protective film before use by tearing the strip at the notch or by cutting around the suppository.

•    Dip the suppository in water and insert into the rectum.

Adults and elderly: Insert one suppository as required.

Do not use for children or infants.

If symptoms persist ask your doctor for advice.

! Not to be swallowed. If you do accidentally swallow some see a doctor straight away.

Possible side effects

May cause bowel irritation, and occasionally abdominal cramps. If you have any side effects, stop use and tell your doctor or pharmacist.

Storing the medicine

Do not store above 25°C. Store in a dry place.

KEEP OUT OF THE REACH AND SIGHT OF CHILDREN.

Use by the date shown on the side of the carton.

Active ingredient per suppository: glycerol 2.8g.

Also contains: gelatin and purified water.
