Paediatric Simple Linctus

31.25 mg/5 ml Oral Solution Citric Acid

Numark Paediatric Simple Linctus BP is taken to relieve coughs in children.

Dosage

Oral solution.

Children from 1 month to 12 years:

Take one or two 5ml spoonfuls (5ml to 10ml). The above doses may be taken up to 4 times daily. Do not give to children under 1 month.

Side effects

©For the relief of coughs in children over 1 month

May upset the stomach or cause dental decay if taken in large doses.

Reporting of side effects

Do not use if your child is allergic to any of the ingredients. Do not use if your child is taking any products containing potassium tartrate, carbonates or bicarbonates.

If you have been told by your doctor that your child has an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before using this medicinal product.

Contains 4.4g of sucrose per 5ml dose. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes mellitus.
