|1. What is Nurofen Muscular Pain Relief Gel for?

(Nurofen Muscular Pain Relief Gel belongs to a group of medicines known as non steroidal    i

'inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS). It is gently rubbed into the skin i* to relieve pain, reduce local heat swelling and inflammation

|» in conditions such as backache; rheumatic and muscular pain, sprains, shams and sports injuries.    i

(2. Before you use Nurofen Muscular Pain Relief Gel Do not use this product if you:

|* are alergic or sensitive to a ny of the ingredients (listed in section 6), to aspirin or other pain relievers ' knawr i a s r 10 rasteroida I anti-infla mmatory d mgs [ N SA| Ds)

i* have ever had an asthma attack, rash or runny nose after taking aspirin or any NSAlDs | |> are under 14 years old.

Check with your doctor or pharmacist before using this product if you:    j

|> are talcing aspirin, ibuprofen or other NSA|D pain relievers    i

|* are pregnant.    I

13. Haw to use

14, Side effects

[Like all medicines Nunofen Muscular Pain Relief Gel can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.

i» serious skin reactions such as itchy rashes, inflammation, swelling, peeling or cracking of the skin,

[ raised red patches with blistering.

5. How to store

[Store below 25 °C.

[Do not use after the 'Use Before' date printed on the container 'Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children.

[6. Further information

The active ingredient (which makes the gel work) is ibuprofen 5% w/w. The gel also contains: Purified water, Isopropyl alcohol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Benzyl alcohol, Sodium hydroxide.

[It is available in a 35g size.
