1. What Senokot Dual Relief Tablets are and what they are used for


Senokot Dual Relief Tablets is a traditional herbal medicinal product used for the short-term rel ef of occasional constipation and bloating, based on traditional use only.

This product contains Senna Leaf Tinnivelly, Cape Aloes, cdscara Bark, Dandelion Root ahd Fennel Fruit.

2. Before you take Senokot Dual Relief Tablets


Do not take Senbkot Dual Relief Tablets:    I

•    if you are allergic to any of the ingrecpents or other plants pf the Asteraceae/Cpmpositae family

•    if you have blockage or narrowing of the gastro-intestinal tract or bowel (ileus, intestinal obstruction or stenosis)

•    if you have parlalysis or a lack of mudcle tone in the bowel (atony)

•    if you have appendicitis, inflammatony bowel disease suchl as Crohn's

disease or ulcprative colitis |    |

•    if you have severe dehydration


If you forget to tpke Senokot Dual Rejief Tablets:

If you miss a dose, take your next dose at the usual time. Do not take two doses at the same time to make up for a missed dose. Always consult your doctor or pharmabist if you need furtherladvice.    I


4. Possible side effects


Like all medicines this product can cause1 side effects, but not everyone gets them If any of the following or other side effects occur, stop takingithis product and consult your doctor or pharmacist:    ,    |

•    the product may produce abdomina pain, spasms and diarrhoea, in particular in patients with irritable colon

•    chronic use m&y lead to albuminurialand haematuria which is albumin or

red blood cells in the urine    i    i

•    skin rash, hivep (skin bumps) or itchipess around the anuSj

•    yellow or red-thrown discolouration qf urine may occur, wpich is harmless.


5. How to store Senokot Dual Relief Tablets


Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Do not use after the expiry date stated pn the label.

Do not store above 25°C. Store in the original packaging

Each tablet contains:

100 mg Senna Leaf Tinnevelly (Cassia angustifolia Vahl), 45 mg Cape Aloes (A/oe ferox Mill), 30mg Cascara Bark (Fihamnus purshianus D.C.), 30 mg Dandelion Root (Taraxacum officinale R.H.Wigg), 15 mg Fennel Fruit (Foeniculum vulgpre var. dulce Miller). |    |

Calcium Hydrogen Phosphate, Sucrose, Talc, Magnesium Stearate, Sodium Starch Glycolate type A.

This product contains Sucrose. If you have been told by yotir doctor that you have an intdlerance to some sugars, contact your ddctor before taking this medipine.    i    i


3. How to take Senokot Dual Relief Tablets.


It is important to follow these instructiohs carefully.    I

For oral use: i    i    i

Adults and the elderly: One or two tablets at bedtime when [necessary.

Do not exceed the stated dose.

Duration of use

Use for more thah 1 - 2 weeks requires1 medical supervision.1 Consult your dobtor, after taking this! medicine:

•    if your conditidn worsens or symptoms persist    I

•    if there is no txbwel movement after 3 days and laxatives are needed every day

• abdominal paiiji persists.    ,    |    ^
