If you forget to take Potter's Cold & Flu Relief:

If you miss a dose, take your next dose at the usual time. Do not take two doses at the same time to make up for a missed dose. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist if you need further advice.

There are no reported side effects with this product. However if any side effects occur, stop taking this product and consult your doctor or pharmacist.

5.    HOW TO STORE POTTER'S COLD & FLU RELIEF:

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Do not use Potter's Cold & Flu Relief after the expiry date. The expiry date is printed on the label and base of the carton.

Do not store above 25°C.

Keep in the original packaging.

Return any unused medicine to your pharmacist for safe disposal.

6.    FURTHER INFORMATION:

Each 5 ml of oral liguid contains:

0.1 ml Liguid Extract Elder Flower (Sambucus nigra L.) (1:1) (eguivalent to 0.1 g Elder Flower)

Extraction Solvent: Water

0.1 ml Liguid Extract Hemlock Spruce (Pinus canadensis L.) (1:1) (eguivalent to 0.1 g Hemlock Spruce)

Extraction Solvent: Ethanol 45% v/v 0.05 ml Liguid Extract Bayberry Bark (Myrica cerifera L.) (1:1) (eguivalent to 0.05 g Bayberry Bark)

Extraction Solvent: Ethanol 45% v/v.

This product also contains:

Ethanol, Peppermint Oil, Cassia Oil, Pimento Oil, Clove Oil, Stronger Capsicum Tincture (96% ethanol, water, capsicum), Strong Ginger Tincture (90% ethanol, ginger root), Capsicum Oleoresin (red chilli pepper, mono & diglicerides of fatty acids (E471), castor oil), Syrup (sucrose), Acacia Powder, Beetroot Powder (E162), Caramel, Viscarin (carrageenan, glucose (dextrose)), Water. Potter's Cold & Flu Relief is a reddish brown liguid and is available in a 135 ml bottle. Traditional Herbal Registration Holder and Manufacturer:

1.    WHAT POTTER'S COLD & FLU RELIEF IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR:

Potter's Cold & Flu Relief is a traditional herbal medicinal product used to relieve the symptoms of colds and flu, chills and sore throats, based on traditional use only. Containing extracts of Elder Flower, Hemlock Spruce and Bayberry Bark.

2.    BEFORE YOU TAKE POTTER'S COLD & FLU RELIEF:

Do not take Potter's Cold & Flu Relief:

•    if you are allergic to any of the ingredients

•    if you are pregnant or breastfeeding

•    if you are under 12 years of age

•    if you are taking medicines known to interact with alcohol e.g. metronidazole.

Taking other medicines:

Please ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding:

You should not use Potter's Cold & Flu Relief if you are pregnant or breastfeeding because there is no evidence that it is safe to do so.

Driving and using machines:

This product contains Ethanol (alcohol) and therefore it is advised that you do not take this medicine if you are going to drive or use machinery.

Important information about some of the ingredients in Potter's Cold & Flu Relief:

This product contains Sucrose (syrup) and Glucose (dextrose). If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicine. This product also contains 8% v/v Ethanol (alcohol), i.e. up to 640 mg per dose (10 ml), eguivalent to 16 ml beer or 6.7 ml wine per dose. It may be harmful for those suffering from alcoholism and high-risk groups such as pregnant or breastfeeding women, children and patients with liver disease or epilepsy.

3. HOW TO TAKE POTTER'S COLD & FLU RELIEF:

It is important that you follow these instructions carefully.

Shake the bottle well before use.

Start at the first signs of a common cold.

For oral use: Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years: Two 5 ml

teaspoonfuls in a third of a cup of warm or hot water, three times a day.

Do not exceed the stated dose.

Do not use this product for more than 7 days.

If your condition worsens or symptoms persist for more than 7 days, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

If you experience shortness of breath, high temperature or yellow, green or blood stained sputum, consult your doctor.

If you take too much Potter's Cold &

Flu Relief:

Stop taking the medicine and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
