5. HOW TO STORE POTTER'S JOINT PAIN RELIEF:

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Do not use Potter's Joint Pain Relief after the expiry date. The expiry date is printed on the label and base of the carton.

Do not store above 25°C. Store in the original packaging.

Return any unused medicine to your pharmacist for safe disposal.

Each film coated tablet contains:

75 mg Yarrow Herb (Achilleamillefolium L.). 60 mg Elder Flower (Sambucusnigm L.).

60 mg Prickly Ash Southern Bark (Zanthoxylum clavaherculis L.).

24 mg Dry Extract Uva Llrsi Leaf (Ardostaphylos uva-ursi (L)Spreng) (5:2) (equivalent to 60 mg Uva Ursi Leaf) Extraction solvent: Water.

22 mg Dry Extract Burdock Root (Arctium lappa L.) (100:37) (equivalent to 60 mg Burdock Root)

Extraction solvent: Water.

17 mg Dry Extract Clivers Herb (Galium aparine L.) (100:28) (equivalent to 61 mg Clivers herb)

Extraction solvent: Water.

6 mg Dry Extract Poplar Bark (Populus tremuloides Michx.) (10:1) (equivalent to 60 mg Poplar Bark)

Extraction solvent: Water.

This product also contains:

Calcium Hydrogen Phosphate, Maltodextrin, Acacia Gum, Talc, Magnesium Stearate, Croscarmellose Sodium, Ethyl Cellulose.

This medicine is available without prescription. However, you still need to take Potter's Joint Pain Relief carefully to get the best results from them.

•    You must contact a doctor or a pharmacist if your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 4 weeks, or

if swelling of the joint, redness or fever occurs.

1.    WHAT POTTER'S JOINT PAIN RELIEF IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR:

Potter's Joint Pain Relief is a traditional herbal medicinal product used for the symptomatic relief of rheumatic pain and general aches and pains in the muscles and joints, based on traditional use only. Containing Yarrow, Elder Flower, Prickly Ash and extracts of Uva Llrsi, Burdock, Clivers & Poplar.

2.    BEFORE YOU TAKE POTTER'S JOINT PAIN RELIEF:

Do not take Potter's Joint Pain Relief:

•    if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or other plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae family, salicylates or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) used to relieve pain, inflammation or a fever e.g. you have had angiodema (rapid swelling of skin and tissue), difficulty breathing or chronic rash when taking salicylate medicines or NSAIDs

•    if you suffer from kidney disorders

•    if you suffer from gastric/duodenal ulcers

•    with anticoagulant/antiplatelet drugs

•    if you are pregnant or breastfeeding

•    if you are under 18 years of age.

Taking other medicines:

Please ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription. Do not take this product with anticoagulant/ antiplatelet drugs. Concomitant use with salicylates or other NSAIDs is not recommended without medical advice. Pregnancy and breastfeeding:

You should not use Potter's Joint Pain Relief if you are pregnant or breastfeeding because there is no evidence that it is safe to do so.

3. HOW TO TAKE POTTER'S JOINT PAIN RELIEF:

It is important that you follow the instructions carefully.

For oral use.

Adults and the elderly: Take two tablets three times a day with food.

The use in children and adolescents under 18 years is not recommended.

Do not exceed the stated dose.

If your condition worsens or symptoms persist for more than 4 weeks, or if joint pain is accompanied by swelling of the joint, redness or fever, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

If you take too many Potter's Joint Pain Relief:

Stop taking the medicine and consult your doctor or pharmacist.

If you forget to take Potter's Joint Pain Relief:

If you miss a dose, take your next dose at the usual time. Do not take two doses at the same time to make up for a missed dose. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist if you need further advice.

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS:

Like all medicines this product can cause side effects, but not everyone gets them.

If any of the following or other side effects occur, including allergic reactions, stop taking this product and consult your doctor or pharmacist:

•    Nausea, vomiting, stomach ache have been reported with the use of Uva Ursi Leaf. The frequency is not known.

•    Hypersensitivity reactions of the skin have been reported with Yarrow herb and anaphylactic shock (i.e. serious allergic reaction which causes difficulty in breathing or dizziness) has been reported with Burdock Root. The frequency is not known.

•    Uva Ursi Leaf may cause a greenish-brown colouration of the urine.
