This medicine is available without prescription. However, you still need to take Potter’s Period Cramps Relief carefully to get the best results from it.

1. WHAT POTTER’S PERIOD CRAMPS RELIEF IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR:

Potter’s Period Cramps Relief is a traditional herbal medicinal product used for the symptomatic relief of menstrual cramps, based on traditional use only.

Containing extract of Raspberry leaf.

2. BEFORE YOU TAKE POTTER’S PERIOD CRAMPS RELIEF:

Do not take Potter’s Period Cramps Relief:

•    if you are allergic to any of the ingredients

•    if you are pregnant or breastfeeding

•    if you are under 18 years of age

Taking other medicines:

Do not take this product for at least 2 hours after taking iron, calcium and / or magnesium supplements

Please ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding:

You should not use Potter’s Period Cramps Relief if you are pregnant or breastfeeding because there is no evidence that it is safe to do so.

Important information about some of the ingredients in Potter’s Period Cramps Relief:

This product contains Sucrose and Lactose. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicine.

3. HOW TO TAKE POTTER’S PERIOD CRAMPS RELIEF:

It is important that you follow these instructions carefully.

For oral use

Women experiencing menstrual cramps: One or two tablets after each meal.

Elderly: there is no relevant indication

The use in the elderly, children and adolescents under 18 years old is not recommended.

Do not exceed the stated dose.

If the symptoms worsen or do not improve after one week, a doctor or a qualified healthcare practitioner should be consulted.

If you take too many Potter’s Period Cramps Relief:

Stop taking the medicine and consult your doctor or pharmacist.

If you forget to take Potter’s Period Cramps Relief:

If you miss a dose, take your next dose at the usual time. Do not take two doses at the same time to make up for a missed dose. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist if you need further advice.

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS:

Like all medicines this product can cause side effects, but not everyone gets them.

If the following or other side effects occur, stop taking this product and consult your doctor or pharmacist:

Digestive disorders such as, flatulence, bloating, diarrhoea, nausea and vomiting have been reported. The frequency is not known

If other adverse reactions occur, a doctor or a qualified healthcare practitioner should be consulted.

Reporting of side effects:

If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. This includes any possible side effects not listed in this leaflet. You can also report side effects directly via the Yellow Card Scheme at: www.mhra.gov.uk/yellowcard

By reporting side effects you can help provide more information on the safety of this medicine.

5. HOW TO STORE POTTER’S PERIOD CRAMPS RELIEF:

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Do not use Potter’s Period Cramps Relief after the expiry date. The expiry date is printed on the label and base of the carton.

Do not store above 25°C. Store in the original packaging.

Return any unused medicine to your pharmacist for safe disposal.

6. FURTHER INFORMATION:

Each tablet contains:

113 mg Dry Extract Raspberry Leaf (Rubus ideaus L.ssp. idaeus) (4:1) (equivalent to 452 mg Raspberry leaf)

Extraction solvent: Water

This product also contains:

Sucrose, Lactose, Maize Starch, Cocoa, Acacia, Talc, Magnesium Stearate.

Potter’s Period Cramps Relief is a fawn-brown round uncoated tablet and available in containers of 60 tablets.
