PROSPORT HEAT SPRAY
Please read this leaflet carefully before you start to use Prosport Heat Spray. It gives you important information about your treatment, if you have any questions, or if you are not sure about anything, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
What is in the pack?
The name of your medicine is Prosport Heat Spray. It is supplied in a can containing 125ml or 150ml of the product. The product contains the following active ingredients: 2-Hydroxyethyl Salicylate 5%w/w, Diethylamine Salicylate 5%w/w and Methyl Nicotinate 1%w/w. It also contains the following inactive ingredients: Isopropyl Alcohol and Butane Propellant
What is your medicine?
Prosport Heat Spray is a topical rubefacient (reddens the skin by producing and excess of blood at the point of application) spray providing effective relief from muscular and rheumatic pain.

What is Prosport Heat Spray used for?
Prosport Heat Spray is used for the symptomatic relief of muscular and rheumatic pain. Before using Prosport Heat Spray
The following information should be read before using this product
• Is your skin inflamed or broken?
• Are you hypersensitive to salicylates?
• Are you pregnant or breast feeding?
If the answer is YES to any of the above questions, do not use this medicine.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
How to use Prosport Heat Spray Adults, Children and Elderly:
Shake the can well before use. Holding the can about 6 inches from the skin surface, point nozzle arrow towards painful area. Spray evenly using short bursts. There is no need to massage. Keep away from the eyes, nose and other sensitive areas.
Children under 5 years of age:
Do not use on children under 5 years of age.
Overdose
Owing to the nature of this product and its clinical indications it is highly unlikely overdose can occur.
Side Effects
Although side effects are uncommon, after application a slight transient erythema (reddening of the skin) may develop. If you experience any other unusual effects stop taking the medicine and tell your doctor or pharmacist at once.
Warnings and Precautions
• Do not pierce or burn the can, even after use.
• Do not spray on a naked flame or any incandescent material.
• Do not use near, and do not place the canister on, polished or painted surfaces.
• Keep out of the reach of children
• Caution, Prosport Heat Spray is flammable. Do not use near fire or flame.
• Do not use this product after the expiry date shown on the pack.
How to store Prosport Heat Spray
