1.    WHAT STRESSLESS HERBAL TABLETS ARE AND WHAT THEY ARE USED FOR

•    A traditional herbal medicinal product used for the temporary relief of symptoms associated with stress such as mild anxiety, based on traditional use only.

•    The product is for use by adults and the elderly.

•    The herbal active ingredients in this product are hops, dry extract valerian and dry extract verbena.

2.    BEFORE YOU TAKE STRESSLESS HERBAL TABLETS

Do not take Stressless Herbal Tablets:

•    if you are allergic (hypersensitive)

to any of the ingredients listed in Section 6.

•    if you are under 18 years of age.

•    if you are already taking a medicine for sleep or anxiety.

Taking other medicines:

Consult your doctor before taking this

medicine if you are already taking any

other medicines, including any bought without a prescription.

Taking Stressless Herbal Tablets with food and drink:

Taking Stressless Herbal Tablets at specified mealtimes is a convenient way to help you to remember to take them. It should not matter whether you actually take them with food. The sedative effect of alcohol may be increased by taking Stressless Herbal Tablets and so excessive consumption of alcohol should be avoided. Pregnancy and breast feeding:

Do not take Stressless Herbal Tablets if you are pregnant or breast feeding. Driving and using machinery:

This product may make you feel drowsy.

If affected do not drive or operate machines.

Important information about one of the ingredients of Stressless Herbal Tablets:

The tablets contain small amounts of sucrose 210mg. If your doctor has told you that you have an intolerance to some sugars

discuss this with your doctor before using this product.

3. HOW TO TAKE STRESSLESS HERBAL TABLETS

Only take the tablets by mouth. When opening the container for the first time, break the tamper evident band around the flip-top cap.

For adults and the elderly:

To relieve stress and mild anxiety:

•    Take two tablets 3 times a day.

•    Do not exceed the recommended dose.

As treatment effects may not be apparent immediately, the tablets should be taken for 2-4 weeks continuously. If symptoms worsen or do not improve after 4 weeks, consult your doctor, pharmacist or qualified healthcare practitioner.

If you take more Stressless Herbal Tablets than you should: If you take more tablets than recommended, consult your doctor, pharmacist or qualified healthcare practitioner.

If you forget to take Stressless Herbal Tablets:

Do not worry if you occasionally forget to take this product, just carry on taking the recommended dose when it is due.

Do not take any extra tablets to make up for those you may have forgotten.

If you have any further questions on the use of this product, ask your doctor, pharmacist or qualified healthcare practitioner.

4.    POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

Like all medicines, Stressless Herbal Tablets may cause side effects for some people such as nausea or abdominal cramps.

If the above side effects become serious or if you experience any other side effects, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Reporting of side effects If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. This includes any possible side effects not listed in this leaflet. You can also report side effects directly via the Yellow Card Scheme at: www.mhra.gov.uk/yellowcard. By reporting side effects you can help provide more information on the safety of this medicine.

5.    HOW TO STORE STRESSLESS HERBAL TABLETS

•    Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

•    Do not use Stressless Herbal Tablets after the expiry date shown on the container and carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.

•    Do not store above 25°C.

•    Always close the cap tightly after use.

•    Medicines should not be disposed of

via wastewater or household waste.

Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required.

These measures will help to protect the environment.

6. FURTHER INFORMATION ABOUT STRESSLESS HERBAL TABLETS

What Stressless Herbal Tablets contain: Each coated tablet contains

45mg Hops strobiles (Humulus lupulus L.), 20mg of extract (as dry extract) from Valerian root (Valeriana officinalis L.)(5:1) Extraction solvent ethanol 45% v/v and 30mg of extract (as dry extract) from Verbena herb (Verbena officinalis L.)(3:1) Extraction solvent methanol 60% v/v.

The other ingredients are Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal hydrated silica, talc, sodium starch glycolate, potato starch, magnesium stearate, sucrose.

Extraction excipient: maltodextrin. Tablet coating: sucrose, talc, kaolin and titanium dioxide (E171).

What Stressless Herbal Tablets look like and contents of the pack:

The tablets are circular, glossy and white. They are available in white polypropylene containers with tamper evident caps, containing 50, 75 or 100 tablets. Not all pack sizes may be marketed.
