A mint flavoured oral suspension for the prompt relief of acid indigestion, upset stomach (gastritis), stomach or duodenal ulcers, reflux and heartburn.

Also contains: E420, E218 and E216.

DOSES:

Adults, elderly and children over 12 years:

•    Shake the bottle before use.

•    Take 10 - 20 ml three times a day 20 - 60 minutes after meals, and at bedtime, or as required.

•    This liquid may be taken for as long as required.

•    Tell your doctor if symptoms do not go away.

Children under 12 years: Not recommended.

Do not use after 28 days from opening.

Store below 25°C. Do not freeze.

Do not take after the expiry date.

The expiry date relates to the last day of that month.

DO NOT TAKE Indigestion Relief Liquid if you:

•    are allergic (hypersensitive) to any of the ingredients

•    have severe kidney problems

•    are severely weak or infirm.

CAUTION - consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are:

•    taking vitamins or any other medicines

•    taking tetracycline antibiotics

•    pregnant.

Important information about some of the ingredients of Indigestion Relief Liquid:

   Hydroxybenzoates (E218 and E216) - may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed), e.g. rash, swelling of the face.

   Sorbitol (E420) - if you have an intolerance to some sugars tell your doctor before taking this medicine.

If you take more than you should:

Problems are unlikely but tell your doctor or pharmacist straight away.

Side effects such as constipation or diarrhoea are unlikely but if you get any side effects tell your doctor or pharmacist.

What Indigestion Relief Liquid contains:

Active ingredients:

dried aluminium hydroxide gel (220mg/5ml) and magnesium hydroxide (195mg/5ml).

Other ingredients:

sorbitol (E420), mannitol, hydrochloric acid, citric acid, methyl and propyl hydroxybenzoates (E218 and E216), simeticone emulsion, saccharin sodium, hydrogen peroxide, peppermint oil, sodium hypochlorite, purified water.
