About This Product

Warnings

e.g. zopldone; strong painkillers e.g. morphine, codeine.

This medicinal product contains sodium, alcohol, amaranth E123, methyl hydroxybenzoate E218, and sorbitol E420.

Please see further warning information.

•    If you are allergic to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of Kilkof Expectorant

•    If you are breast-feeding or if you have I iver or kidney problems.

■    If you are taking medicines for depression such as tranykypromlne, phenelzine or isocaitjoxazid or within 14 days of stopping taking these medicines.

Do not use in children under 6 years of ago.

Do not take if your pregnant.

Talk to your doctor before use if:

■    Suffering from a chronic or persistent cough, if you have asthma, suffering

from acute asthma attack, or where cough is accompanied by excessive secretions.

■    Suffering from enlarged prostate, urinary retention, angle-dosure (glaucoma).

■    If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicinal product (contains glucose, sucrose and sorbitol) • Do not use to sedke a child.

Interaction with other medicines

There is an increased risk of side effects such as dry mouth, blurred vision, or difficulty passing urine if this medicine is taken with: medicines for Parkinson's e.g. procydldine, orphenadrlne, trihexlphenldyl; antipsychotic* e.g. chlorpromazine, clozapine, thioridazine; antispasmodics e.g. atropine, propantheline; tricydk antidepressants e.g. amitriptyline, clomipramine.

There is an increased risk of drowsiness if this medicine is taken with any of the following: alcohol; antipsychotic* e.g. chlorpromazine; barbiturates e.g. phenobarbetal; anxiety medidnes eg. diazepam, temazepam; sleepktg tablets

Liquid for Oral use.

Adults and children over 12 years of age: take one or two 5ml

spoonfuls (5ml to 10ml) every two to three hours.

Children 6 to 12 years: take one 5ml spoonful every three or four hours.This dose should not be used in children for more than 5 days without the advke of a doctor. Medical attention should be sought if the child's condition deteriorates during treatment

Do not gin to children imdar 6 years,

Full Ingredients List

■    Harmful for those suffering from alcoholism.This medicinal product contains 7.2 vol% ethanol (alcohol), i.e. up to 568 mg per 10ml dose, equivalent to 14.1 ml of beer or 6ml of wine per 10ml dose.

■    To be taken into account by patients on a controlled sodi um diet, this medicinal product contains 33mg of sodium per 10ml dose.

■    May cause allergic reactions,contains amaranth (El 23), contains methyl hydroxybenzoate (E218), may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).

■    Contains 7.8 g of sucrose perlO ml dose. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes mellitus.

Drowsiness (usually diminishes within a few days), excitation, headache, movement (coordination) disorder,urinary retention, dry mouth, blurred vision, stomach upset, thickened chest mucous.

Rare side-effects

Low blood pressure, Involuntary muscle spasm,dizziness,confusion, depression,sleep disturbances, tremor,fits, palpitation, irregular heartbeat allergy reactions, blood disorders and liver dysfunction.
