About This Product
Sainsbury's Dry Cough Linctus is taken to treat dry unproductive, irritating coughs.
Do Not Use:
• If you are allergic to dextromethorphan, propylene glycol or any other ingredients.
• If you have liver disease or if you are at risk of respiratory failure.
• If you are taking selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors.
• Not to be used in patients taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors MAOI's (for depression) or within 14 days of stopping.
• Ask a doctor before use if suffering from a chronic or persistent cough, if you have asthma, suffering from acute asthma attack or where the cough is accompanied by excessive secretions.
• Do not take with any other cough or cold medicine. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this product if you are pregnant, breast-feeding or if you are taking any prescribed medicines.

• The use of dextromethorphan with alcohol or other CNS depressants may increase the effects on the CNS and cause toxicity in relatively small doses.
• Contains E420 (Sorbitol) - if you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before using this medicinal product.
• Contains 3.6g of glucose per 10ml dose. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes mellitus.
■ Contains E124 (Ponceau R Red) - may cause allergic reactions.

Side effects are rare but may include nausea, vomiting, stomach ache, dizziness and drowsiness. If you notice these or any other side effects, stop using the product and consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 10mg/5ml. Glucose, Propylene Glycol, E420 (Sorbitol) Menthol, Orange Flavouring, E124 (Ponceau R Red), E954 (Saccharin Sodium), E330 (Citric Acid) and Purified Water.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Take two 5 ml spoonfuls (10ml) up to four times daily.
Children from 6-12 years:
