3. How to take Veno's Cough Syrup
Adults and children aged 12 years and over:
Take 5 ml or 10 ml (one or two 5 ml spoonfuls) every 2 to 3 hours as needed.
Children aged 3 to 12 years:
Give 5 ml (one 5 ml spoonful) every 2 to 3 hours as needed.
• Do not give to children under 3 years
• Do not take more frequently than every 2 hours.
If your symptoms persist, see your doctor.
4. Possible side effects
Like ail medicines, Veno's Cough Syrup can have side effects, but they are very rare.
Stop taking the medicine and seek immediate medical help if you experience:
♦ Allergic reactions. These may include developing a rash, swelling or difficulty breathing. See Section 2.
Reporting of side effects If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. This includes any possible side effects not listed in this leaflet. You can also report side effects directly via the Yellow Card Scheme at www.mhra.gov.uk/yellowcard. By reporting side effects you can help provide more information on the safety of this medicine.
5. How to store Veno's Cough Syrup
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Do not use this medicine after the 'EXP' date shown on the pack. Use within 6 months of opening.
6. Further information
Active Ingredient Each 5 ml dose contains Glucose Liquid 3.18 g and Treacle 1.35 g.
Other ingredients Capsicum tincture, aniseed oil, xanthan gum, camphor racemic, glacial acetic acid, sodium benzoate (E 211), sodium metabisulphite (E 223), levomenthol, water and colour caramel (E150).
This bottle contains 100 ml.
