About this Product
Superdrug Mucus Cough is taken to relieve chesty coughs.
Active Ingredients
Guaifenesin lOOmg per 5ml.
Warnings
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
If you are taking any prescribed medicines or undergoing medical tests, consult your doctor before using this product.
If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before using this medicinal product.
Contains 4.4g of glucose per 10ml dose. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes mellitus.
This medicinal product contains 2.4 vol% ethanol (alcohol), i.e. up to 191mg per 10ml dose, equivalent to 4.9ml of beer or 2ml of wine per 10ml dose.
Harmful for those suffering from alcoholism. To be taken into account in pregnant or breast-feeding women, children and high-risk groups such as patients with liver disease, or epilepsy.
Contains E122 - may cause allergic reactions. Contains E218 - may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).
Dosage
Liquid for oral use.
Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years of age take 5 to 10 ml every two or three hours. Not more than 4 doses should be given in any 24 hours. Do not exceed the stated dose.
Do not take with any other cough and cold medicines.
Please wipe bottle neck after use. If cap becomes stuck run under warm water for 30 seconds.
Not recommended for children under 12 years.
