What the medicine is for

Zerocream is a smooth white opaque cream which softens and moisturises the skin. It relieves the symptoms of flaking, dry or chapped skin. It can also be used for ichthyosis (an inherited scaly skin condition), traumatic dermatitis (inflamed skin caused by outside agents), sunburn, the dry stage of eczema and certain dry cases of psoriasis (a chronic skin disorder).

Before you use this medicine

   Do not take the medicine if you or your child have....

   An allergy to any of the ingredients listed.

! Pregnant or breastfeeding

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is unlikely to have any ill effects when used as directed. If unsure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

! Important Ingredient Information

This medicine contains cetyl alcohol, lanolin and hydroxybenzoates which may cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis) or allergic reactions (possibly delayed).

ZHow to use the medicine

•    If the cream comes into contact with dressings or clothing, the fabric can be more easily ignited with a naked flame. Keep away from fire when using the product.

Apply the cream to the skin.

Adults, the elderly and children: Apply to the affected areas of skin two or three times a day. Rub well into the skin.

! If you accidentally swallow some see a doctor straight away. Take the pack with you to show which medicine you have swallowed.

Active ingredients: liquid paraffin 12.6% w/w, white soft paraffin 14.5% w/w.

Also contains: lanolin anhydrous, glyceryl monostearate, cetyl alcohol, sodium cetostearyl sulphate, citric acid monohydrate, carbomer, sodium hydroxide, phenoxyethanol, methyl hydroxybenzoate (E218), ethyl hydroxybenzoate (E214), propyl hydroxybenzoate, butyl and isobutyl hydroxybenzoate and purified water.

•    Caution: Parahydroxybenzoates may cause an allergic reaction (possibly delayed).

Lanolin and cetyl alcohol may cause local skin reactions (eg. contact dermatitis).

•    Application: Adults, children, and elderly.

Apply the cream to the dry skin areas two or three times daily, and rub well into the skin.
