However, you still need to use Bonjela Teething carefully to get the best results from it. !    !


discomfort associated with teething, j Bonjela Teething Gel is a clear, almost colourless gel, wjiich is applied to tfie inside of the mouth or gums. It contains lidocaine hydrochloride (alpain killer) which soothes sore areas in the moifth and an antiseptic called cetalkonium chlpride, which kills bacteria and helps prevent infection.

Bonjela Teething is intended for infants from the age of 2 months. !

1. What Bonjela Teething Gel is and what it is used for

As with all medicines, Bonjela Teething Gel may not be suitable for everybody. j Do not |    )

Taking other ifiedicines j

Bonjela Teething pel should not be tajken when taking medicines treating high blood pressure (propranolol), or stomach conditions (cimetidine) or water-retention (diuretics). j

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Do not use Bonjela Teething Gel after the expiry date which is staied on the carton arid on the tube. The expiry date refers to the la$t day of that month.

Do not store above 25°C.

Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how tjo dispose of medicibes no longer required. These njeasures will help tq protect the environment.

For babies over the age of 2' months only.

Massage approximately one centimetre (half an inch) of Bonjela Teething Gel ont(> the sore area. This can be repeated after 3 hours.

Do not apply Bonjela Teething Gel directly onto braces or dentures, and leave at Ijeast 30 minutes before replacing the braces or dentures.

If the symptoms do not go away after 7 days of treatment, yc(u should see your doctor or dentist. In the case of a missed dosej simply apply a new dose and follow the instructions described

above. !

What Bonjela teething Gel contains

The active ingredients (which make the medicine work) are lidocairje hydrochloride 0.33% w/w, cetalkonium chloride 0.01 % w/w. The other ingredients are ethanol, glycerol, hypromellose 4500, sodium eyejamate, banana flavour,

Like all medicines, Bonjela Teething Gel can cause side effects, ^though not everybody gets them. Allergic reactions (skin problem, fatigue...) may occur.
